The Libertine by Louis

Libertine by Louis is a place like no other. So very loved, the café itself and the excellent team that work, here have made their way into the hearts of the Stepney community. Decorated with flair and aplomb using vintage and pre-loved furniture, all is mismatched and odd, and yet, all pieces fit together quite perfectly in this space on Magill Road. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming, and the café holds art exhibitions and performances to support the local creative arts scene. And, fronted by the excellent thespians who work here, the café hosts murder mystery dinners every month. The high teas are most popular, and the baristas make a mean brew using beans from local and boutique producers. Desserts are the sweetest of things and the French menu uses only locally sourced produce. The Libertine by Louis is a full creative gourmet experience and a very pleasing and fun one at that.
