Spanish Tapas Glebe

It is hard to go past this restaurant on Glebe’s main dining strip, Glebe Point Road. It certainly is impossible to ignore: the room is warm, traditional and so inviting. And then there are the aromas of garlic, olive oil and chargrilled seafood. Be sure to step in. This excellent Spanish cantina is a perfect spot to catch up for fresh and mouth-watering tapas with friends. You can also share a pizza here or order the more substantial seafood platters or traditional paella. The wine list is excellent with plenty of Spanish varietals to try as well as cocktails and sangria which go so very well with the flamenco dancing which is on show Monday, Friday and Saturday evenings. And if dining on a Monday evening, tapas is half price. But get there early, locals flock to take advantage of this special – and very tasty – deal. More than just an excellent dining spot, Spanish Tapas Glebe is an excellent night out.
