SheShells Restaurant

Sheshells is proudly South Australian and the family owned restaurant is expert in preparing and serving up the very, very best of South Australian seafood to create a variety of contemporary international dishes. The family owners are committed to using, supporting and promoting the abundance of produce to be found on their doorstep. Local produce is absolutely the order of the day. The seafood at this Glenelg eatery is amazing and the presentation of it is meticulous. Favourite dishes include the Italian mussel pot made with South Australian black mussels and the seafood basket including a locally hauled fish of the day. And while, as the name suggests, Seashells leans towards ocean fresh cuisine, the kitchen deftly handles food from the land as well for those who steer away from the sea when it comes to the eating. The scotch fillet in lime butter is a knockout. Wines – Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale –beers and ciders, and the By 6 Coffee Roasters are all local delights. Local, authentic and lovingly prepared has proven a winning recipe for this most excellent and well-loved place near the sea.
