This is fine-dining, inventive, interesting and exciting Indian cuisine. The stunning views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge aside, the passionate owner and chef Inderpreet Singh has worked in hospitality since his parents opened their first restaurant when he was just two years old. He has had a lifetime to perfect traditional Indian cuisine and to contemplate contemporary interpretations of Indian dishes in an Australian context. And so, the menu here is personal, seasonal, fresh and a delight to experience. Plants and herbs are plucked from Singh’s edible garden and are used to create favourite dishes like venison samosas, palak murgh (chicken thigh, spinach, labneh and Australian pecans) or xacuti v2 (snapper, roasted curry leaf, cinnamon stick masala). You can also enjoy the nine-course degustation for the full Lavendra experience. Lavendra is an unforgettable dining experience.
