Indian Express

Indian Express in Hampton is not just a way to make a living for Harish and Vinata Desai. No. Food and hospitality is their passion. And Indian Express has become their way of life. A fixture of Hampton where it has been serving up delicious fare to locals for close to thirty years, the menu here explores dishes from right around India. It is well loved, and the small dining space is always filled with diners who come to enjoy the generous servings of superb Indian cuisine. The kitchen cooks with the freshest of ingredients, there are at least fifteen curries on offer every day and the menu is regularly updated and changed. This keeps the selection of dishes interesting and adventurous for the loyal clientele. Favourites include either the spicy or cheese dosas (pancakes), dahl, butter chicken and beef tamarind. There is a special south Indian brunch on Saturday afternoons, curries are perfectly balanced, the produce is the best you will find, and the kitchen and dining room are immaculately clean. It is little wonder that Indian Express has remained so very loved for so very long.
