Friends Restaurant

This fine-dining venue is a reliable and enduring favourite that never gets tired. It’s a beautiful setting. The floor to ceiling glass windows encasing the elegant dining room ensure panoramic views of the Swan River. But it is the food that is the knockout here. Oh, actually, the selection of wine is pretty amazing as well. The menu is inventive and a delight for the senses, the presentation of the dishes meticulous and minimalist and the service is top-notch, especially when it comes navigating the wine list which is extensive, exciting and a joy to experience. This is not a place to visit for a quick feed. Diners come here for special occasions and memorable moments, especially when it comes to truffle season and the truffle degustation menu is on offer. The degustation menus are seasonal presenting delicate concoctions which are explosions of flavour for the mouth. Truffles, pork belly, Geraldton lobster, Cone Bay barramundi and Harvey beef: the local produce is artfully matched with accompaniments that are unique and intriguing. Friends is a gourmet experience which is not to be missed.
