Cutty Sark

The best kind of contemporary Australian dining. The warm Brisbane climate means that the doors are almost always flung wide open and the sunshine streams in as tables of happy diners kick back to enjoy the excellent food and views at this waterfront location. Using the best of seasonal produce, diners can look forward to enjoying Asian and Mediterranean influenced food on a menu which is coherent, inventive and interesting. There is shared tapas to start, or perhaps a tempura soft shell crab, and mains include crispy skinned roast duck, paella and stuffed zucchini flowers. There is plenty to choose from to satisfy all tastes. Dishes are freshly made every day and the proof is in the eating: the flavours here are are to be savoured. The wine list is a great accompaniment to the excellent cuisine, with plenty of local and Spanish varietals on offer. Like the team in the kitchen, the floor staff are efficient, friendly and accommodating. Cutty Sark is a place for long lunching and celebration.
