Billy’s Deck

This smart-looking diner in Eltham serves up brunches and lunches which are truly a cut above the standard. The team in the kitchen is passionate about creating interesting and nourishing dishes, and about presenting them well. Their hard work is revealed in the showing and the tasting. At Billy’s Deck you’ll find more than just smashed avocado for brunch. Choose Spanish omelette, Turkish eggs or a smashed pumpkin with feijoa, cherry tomatoes and poached eggs. The fruit toast comes with mascarpone and maple and mandarin sherbet. Yum! Then, come lunchtime, it’s time for big serves of cooking inspired by home. Just a lot better. There is a good selection of ripping burgers as well as a succulent open lamb souvlaki, a calamari salad which is close to perfection and three cheese gnocchi just oozing with creamy goodness. The wine list is succinct, the coffee brew top-notch and the service friendly and accommodating. When next in Eltham, be sure to find yourself a table at Billy’s Deck.
