This Fitzroy eatery is the place to go if looking to experience the most authentic of Turkish food in all its spicy glory. Family owned and run, the speciality of this newly opened house is the delicious tantuni, chopped meat spiced with sumac, paprika and oregano, pan fried with onion and tomato, and finished with handfuls of fresh green parsley. The meat is served in pita, Turkish bread or on a bed of rice and it is totally delicious. Foodies, lovers of Turkish food and those with Turkish heritage are all quickly making their way to this smallish eating house. Anatolia Tantuni happily hums along, filled with diners who love the flavours, the hospitality and the relaxed atmosphere. The flavours of the Mediterranean are served up on a plate with lots of love at this gorgeous diner. A fabulous new dining experience to be had in Fitzroy.
