Albi’s Table

World class chef Albi Cuni has travelled the world and worked at the best of its restaurants, including three-hatted Sydney restaurant, Quay. So, what an absolute treat for the people of Cronulla that he has opened the casual eatery, Albi’s Table in their hood. Serving traditional Italian cuisine, Albi’s is perfect when seeking homestyle and heart-warming fare. Nonna’s meatballs, porcini and truffle risotto, pillows of gnocchi or slow cooked and pulled lamb shoulder wrapped in prosciutto, the quality of the food is excellent and the flavours robust. There are traditional pizzas on offer, the $49 set menu is a joy to share with friends and it is well worth squeezing in one of the desserts like the perfect tiramisu or decadent chocolate tart. The wine list is succinct with standout Italian and local varietals and the dining room is smart, simple and chic. Like the Italian hospitality we all know, love and flock to, this eatery welcomes diners in and makes them feel immediately at home. Albi’s Table is filled with diners – both local and from wider Sydney – who come for deliciousness, satisfaction and easy service. It is a winning combo and Albi Cuni has absolutely nailed it here.
