This newly opened Sydney beauty is housed in the meticulously renovated Campbell’s Stores sandstone building at Circular Quay. Built in 1839, the team of designers have managed to create a dining environment that takes full advantage of the stunning Sydney Harbour views, pays homage to the heritage of the space and incorporates luxurious contemporary design. The cuisine here is also excellent: 6Head is a great place to dine when looking to impress. The menu focuses heavily on beef and the kitchen works with some of the best purveyors in the business. For those craving something else, there are interesting and delicious offerings including roasted quail, a great selection of seafood, vegetarian farmer’s market pie and a super-sweet dessert menu. The floor staff deftly work their way around the room and the excellent sommeliers are more than happy to help when it comes to navigating the menu and the extensive wine list which showcases the best from Australia, New Zealand, France, Italy, South Africa and the United States, with a more limited selection of wine from Spain and Argentina.
